Already the summer feels like it's starting to change. My tomatoes are coming in daily, the nights are getting cooler and the light is shifting ever so slightly.

Grateful for a fantastic summer, with real summer days and nights, as opposed to the monsoons we experienced in Rhode Island during the summer of '09. There's been great time for fun on Narragansett Bay, biking, swimming and exploring.

Visited the Yacht Club soda factory in North Providence yesterday with my kids and saw soda being made and bottled - glass bottles, real sugar and great flavors. I got a chance to try their Peach Seltzer freshly made - perfect refreshment for a hot day. The guys there were fun to talk to about the sodas and the way things change. I'm glad they've kept so much the same.

The explorations of summer have also been great including repeated visits to our favorite ice cream shop, Riverside Creamery. This week's a great time to take a few minutes to enjoy the season before the days start to feel in short supply and the buzz of school arrives on the wind.

The new Rooted Radiance website is under construction and should be ready by the end of the week. Thanks for your patience while we get through this transition from one site that was beautiful but unwieldy, to a site that will be beautiful and easier for our team to manage. The site will be up and running, taking orders in the next couple of days, but the final coats of paint will be added over the next month.

Be sure to enjoy the fruits and vegetables of the season while they are abundant and require little cooking - and have a healthy week.

Any questions or needs for special orders, please don't hesitate to call 401 486 2620 or email rootedradiance@gmail.com

All the best -
